MAKING MOVIES IS IN MY BLOOD

Mixing domestic life and film making is almost impossible, it is either one or the other, but sometimes it comes together and you get a chance to create.

THE SOCIAL WORKER is a Cop show I based on my Father’s life as a homicide cop in the 1970’s and 80’s, trying to make a positive difference in the lives of his informants. The other cops called him a SOCIAL WORKER….. or Popeye, because he looked like Gene Hackman.

The HAN SOLO CHRONICLES is a series FAN FILM that follows Han and his “My” 2 daughters 13 years after RETUN OF THE JEDI and the fall of the Empire. It started out just playing with the green screen and turned into a 30 minute movie with more episodes to come.

I made a SHOW OPEN for THE SOCIAL WORKER series, as I had access to a couple of old cars, a Police station and props. I was hoping to get the feel of the early 1970’s, when actual events took place.
